BUILD's Most Dynamic London Renovation 2016

 

An award winning renovation, extension and loft conversion to a detached suburban house in Sidcup, London.

The project involved the updating of a 3 bedroom house, that was not fit for the client's purpose, into a 4 bedroom family home with an ensuite loft conversion, home office, cinema room, snug and luxurious open plan kitchen, living, dining area. The design redefined what space meant for the family. It creating secluded pockets for privacy, study and sanctuary. We improved our clients’ quality of life with large bright open places to entertain, eat and live as a family, with new views framed onto the garden amenity.

The architecture aimed to marry modern elements to the existing seamlessly. A two-storey side extension created a new bedroom and garage store. The rear extension allowed for a grand family area, flooded with light from a wall of bi-fold doors and a large skylight over. This freed up the original living and allowed the dining rooms, to become a cinema room, with Crittall doors that lead to a snug with access to an open plan, kitchen, living, dining space. The loft conversion allowed for a bedroom with ensuite. The overall effect is the perfect solution for modern living in a suburban setting.

An interior gem in London's jewellery quarter.

 

An investment opportunity for a client at the centre of the UK diamond trade and world famous jewellery quarter that is Hatton Garden. 

The renovation of a dated 2 storey, multiple occupancy, bachelor flat into a high-end residence with bespoke joinery and exquisite detailing befitting of a luxury cruise liner or a jewellery box. 

The design created a stylish open plan living dining area with bedrooms over 2 floors, one with ensuite. This has allowed the client to have a property accessible to the sales, rental and short stay markets. Hotel quality, with a home from home feel. 

 

Timeless new modern home; within a Grade II Listed apartment block

 

interior design and renovation project to an apartment within a Grade II listed property, in the much sort after and affluent Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. 

The project involved close collaboration and negotiations with the other tenants of the building and the local authority to deliver desirable and high-end luxury living, whilst respecting the importance of the building as a whole.

The design created 2 bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, and an open kitchen/living area which compliments the beautiful and dramatic stucco ceiling. From the detailed design of the wainscot panels and fire place, to the restraint of tempered clean lines, the composition and care were the hallmarks for the success of this project.
